Don’t Miss Memorable Fun at KC’s Favorite Farm
A breath of fresh air is always soothing for the soul, and there’s no better place for a day under the big blue sky than at Johnson Farms Plants & Pumpkins.
Located just 25 minutes south of Kansas City, the beautiful 140-acre farm is home to lush fields, an unobstructed horizon, and our favorite farm animals. It’s also the best place to find high-quality plants and produce, friendly service, and fun farm experiences for the whole family.
Johnson Farms Plants & Pumpkins invites you to take advantage of their fun-filled calendar this season, and the chance to make some memories with family and friends. Here are five reasons a trip to Johnson Farms Plants & Pumpkins is a must.
Beautiful blooms
Chrysanthemum season is highly anticipated at Johnson Farms Plants & Pumpkins, and you’ll want to experience it for yourself. It’s time to ditch the big-box store mums and find the perfect blooms. Starting September 1, you can find over 25,000 mums available for purchase in over 80 beautiful varieties—or you can cut your own bouquet of sunflowers and zinnias.
Vegetable harvesting
There’s something special about a home cooked meal, but even more so when it’s made with vegetables you picked yourself. If you love locally grown produce, head to Johnson Farms Plants and Pumpkins’ starting September 15 to harvest your own tomatoes, peppers, beets, cabbage, and more.
