Choose to earn your A.A., A.S. or B.S.
Seminole State offers online programs leading to an Associate in Art, Associate in Science, or Bachelor of Science degree. Each degree has a variety of programs, specializations and classes to choose from.
The online A.A. is a two-year college degree program designed for students who wish to transfer into a baccalaureate program. Seminole State offers many General Education courses online, allowing students to earn their A.A. entirely location-free. The College also offers online prerequisite courses for many upper-division majors.
If you’re looking to earn your A.S. online, Seminole State offers nine degree options that can prepare you for a career in business, information technology or public safety: Administrative Office Management, Business Administration, Computer Programming and Analysis, Entrepreneurship and Business Management, Health Information Technology, Information Systems Technology, Network Systems Technology, Social Media and Marketing, and Supply Chain Management.
Those looking to earn their online B.S. have five majors to choose from: Business and Information Management (with specializations in Entrepreneurship, Interdisciplinary, or Supply Chain Management), Construction, Engineering Technology (Project Management), Health Sciences and Information Systems Technology.
Seminole State also offers 29 certificate programs online in several pathways, including business, information technology and education.
Flexible and convenient
You have a busy schedule, but it’s time to get your degree so you can move up in your profession or make a career change. With most full-time programs, you’d have to spend a lot of time on campus attending classes—not to mention commuting. This can mean having to quit your job, leave your family for extended periods or drastically change your lifestyle.
Online classes offer the freedom, flexibility and convenience you need to pursue your goals from the comfort of your home—or anywhere you have your computer and Wi-Fi. Earning your degree online is a rich learning experience that opens up classes that wouldn’t otherwise be accessible.
Most degrees can be earned completely location-free, while some include a hybrid approach where you experience a percentage of face-to-face learning and a percentage of online classes. Just think: In two to four years, you will be able to accelerate your career with your associate or bachelor’s degree in hand—without major upheaval.
A curriculum built for success
When you choose to study online at Seminole State, you access a learning opportunity outside the traditional classroom setting. The education you receive is equivalent to what you would receive if you were attending classes on campus, without being bound by time and place.
The online programs are built for student success. Every class is an engaging learning experience and incorporates lots of touchpoints with the faculty. Online students receive the same services that an on-campus student receives, including advice, access to the library, academic and career support, tutoring and financial aid.
Online learning gives students an opportunity to connect with their professors and fellow students in a way that isn’t possible in a traditional classroom. Through the supportive online environment, students are encouraged to ask questions and connect with the faculty—without the anxiety of having to raise your hand and ask questions face-to-face in front of people.
Affordable tuition
Seminole State is a state college that provides a top-notch and notable education without the exorbitant fees. As an online student, you won’t have to pay for gas or incur other extra expenses, which reduces the overall cost of attending college.
