Honey Sesame Marinated Skirt Steak
Serves 6-8
1 2 lbs skirt steak
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
2 teaspoons grated fresh
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
In a medium bowl, whisk together the oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic, vinegar, ginger, salt and pepper.
Place the flank steak in a shallow dish or large, zip-top bag. Cover or seal and let marinade for at least 8 hours, or overnight.
Preheat grill for medium heat. Cook steak for about 8-10 minutes per side, until the internal temperature is to your liking.
Let the steak rest for about 10 minutes prior to serving. To serve, top with sesame seeds and slice thin, against the grain of the steak.
