Zoresco Equipment Co., the full-service specialists for light- and medium-duty work vehicles, considers itself more than just a business. Over the past four decades, Zoresco has grown exponentially and now has production facilities near Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; and Cincinnati, OH. But even through that expansion, the owners and employees have never outgrown Zoresco’s core values: Passion. Integrity. Respect. Teamwork. Pride. At heart, Zoresco is still a tight-knit family. And right now, they are welcoming new members. Zoresco is currently hiring, both technicians to install and repair truck bodies and equipment for everything from snowplows to platform and dump bodies to toolboxes and commercial van interiors and sales and support staff. They are looking not only for skilled and passionate employees, but also men and women who look out for one another, help each other, and work together to provide the best service and the best work experience in the industry. You don’t have to take our word for it—just ask the people who currently call Zoresco home. For instance, Zoresco technicians say they appreciate the diversity of jobs they work on, building as well as repairing different equipment. Plus, they get to work on new Ford, GM, Chevrolet, Dodge, International Navistar, and Peterbuilt trucks. Jeffrey is a technician who came to Zoresco more than five years ago at the suggestion of a friend. Jeffrey applied because he was excited to work on the latest makes and models and machinery. But when after he got the job, he found much more. That spirit of collaboration extends all the way through management to the owners, who are always accessible. “Ownership and management make themselves available and try to make the environment beneficial for technicians,” says Tim, a tech who came aboard three months ago. “The regular meetings are really good for keeping everyone on the same page—and they even treat the techs to lunch occasionally.” Employees say that the perks of being part of Zoresco go much further than just interesting work and the occasional free lunch. Technicians are paid hourly instead of a flat rate, so they’re justly compensated for the hours they put in and aren’t penalized just because a job takes longer to do the right way. All workers get two weeks of paid vacation, extra paid holidays throughout the year, and a steady, accommodating schedule. There is also good medical coverage, the fees of which the owners partially defray to help minimize costs for the employees. Taking care of employees isn’t just good business sense. Zoresco isn’t a faceless company. It’s run by people who understand life happens both at work and at home and everywhere between. Ownership goes the extra mile because it cares about its workers—and the employees, in turn, care about each other. “They are all family to me,” says Tim, who has worked in sales at Zoresco for 14 years. “They supported me after my family member passed away. They treat me as if I am a family member—very supportive during hard times.” Ownership and staff have raised money and collected donations for employees or their loved ones in times of need. The owners have even given out personal loans. “Zoresco is an amazing company to work for,” says Shannon, who’s worked in the front office for the last year and a half. “Every morning when I wake up, I do not dread going to work. I look forward to going to work because I know that no matter what, we will make every day a good day, and when a problem arises we work through it as a team!” If you would like to join the Zoresco family, you can apply in person to either the Pittsburgh, Cleveland, or Cincinnati offices or simply go to the company’s website, www.zorescoequipment.com/apply-online.
