Radiology and MRI Technician
Radiologists diagnose and treat diseases using x-ray and radiation. They use their technology to study the inside of the human body without surgery, including the:

As a radiologist, you’ll learn how having the proper x-ray positions is essential to getting a clear picture of the problem area.
To become a radiology technician, you will need to graduate with a Doctorate of Medicine specializing in diagnostic radiology or radiation oncology. It’s also recommended that you get a nuclear radiation certification.
MRI techs assist radiologists in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans, Computed Tomography (CT) scans, and x-rays. To become an MRI technician, you will need to graduate with a degree or certification in radiologic technology and have an understanding of radiologic terms.
Lab Technician
A job as a lab technician entails conducting RNA extractions and sequencing field samples. They also monitor and verify procedures via quality control testing. It is also in the job description to prepare samples and calibrate instruments.
The position requires an MS in Biological Sciences to become a lab technician.
Ultrasound Technician
An ultrasound technician is going to be qualified to perform sonograms that check on unborn babies and fetal complications. However, that’s not all that they do. An ultrasound tech will be able to assist in biopsies and other invasive procedures.
To become an ultrasound technician, you will need to graduate from an accredited program in radiology or ultrasonography.
Phlebotomy Technician
A phlebotomist is a health professional who draws and collects blood samples before sending them off the get tested. They also use technology to verify patient identification and input their information into a database. They are also qualified to assemble and maintain this equipment to ensure patient safety from infections and complications.
Some states may not require certification. However, some states and several employers that do will require you to get a phlebotomy certification and professional certification for gainful employment.
